ES&R Consultation Approach

At All Things Butterfly Pty Ltd, I hold a deep belief in your natural capacity to grow, heal, and transform. I see you as the expert in your own life—and my role isn’t to advise or fix, but to walk alongside you as you uncover your own insight, direction, and possibilities.

Together, we’ll explore what matters to you most, build on your inner strengths, and develop tools and strategies that feel right for you in line with Counselling approaches. With increased self-awareness and trust in your own voice, I hope you’ll feel more empowered to make choices that align with the life you want to live.

If there’s ever a need for support beyond my scope, I’ll gently guide you toward appropriate resources or referrals to continue your journey.

Confidentiality

Although ES&R Consultations are held based on an agreement between your ‘Employer’ and ‘All Things Butterfly Pty Ltd’, everything you share with me in the course of our work together will be treated as highly confidential. This means that I must protect your privacy and not share information about you with others.

However, there are a few circumstances in which I may be required to break confidentiality:

• If I consider you to be at risk of seriously harming yourself or someone else.
• Where I consider a child to be at risk
• In some cases where a significant crime may be or has been committed
• If your consultation/ counselling records have been requested by a court of law.
• If another party or agency has requested your information, and you have agreed and provided your written consent to this.
• If you agree that I share specific information with your employer to achieve improved outcomes.

ES&R Consultation Sessions

ES&R Consultation sessions are by appointment and tailored to your needs. Our sessions will be 30 minutes in duration.

Rescheduling and cancellations

If you need to reschedule or cancel a scheduled appointment, please use the link within your calendar invite, providing at least 24 hours' notice. Non-attendance without providing 24 hours’ notice will incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled session fee to your employer.

Record Keeping

To support our work together, I maintain session notes and any forms you've provided. I have a legal obligation to protect this information, and I do so by ensuring that all paper records are kept in a secure filing cabinet to which nobody else has access; that all electronic records are kept in secure documents to which nobody else has access; and that I keep information with your identity (such as your intake form) separate from your session notes.

These are kept privately and securely, in line with the confidentiality clause. You're always welcome to access your own records—just ask.

By regulation, records are held for at least seven (7) years from our last session, though in some cases, they may be kept longer.

Contact outside of Sessions

I kindly ask that phone or email contact between sessions be limited to practical arrangements, such as rescheduling or confirming appointments. I'm not able to offer counselling via phone or email outside of agreed sessions.
